let intuition be our guide

On Living Projects

Early on, I made a deliberate choice not to follow traditional business models. Instead, I focused on Raven Essences as a living entity. My “boardroom meetings” were meditations with specific questions. Powerful dreams and synchronous events were honoured alongside feedback from clients and colleagues. At times, I wondered if this approach was naïve and sustainable yet unexpected rewards kept drawing me deeper into Life’s mysteries. I now believe that living projects can play an essential role in Earth restoration.

Some Thoughts on Living Projects

A creative ‘project’ lives within each of us, part of our destiny seeking to manifest during our life on Earth.

Living projects begin with deep listening to the voice within the centre of our being. As we listen, we begin to recognize and trust this inner voice as wisdom, not just for personal gain but as guidance for our unique way of serving the whole.

Living projects consciously include the many ‘voices’ of Nature. Trees and flowers, animals and stones, all the elements speak to our awakened senses through resonance, synchronicity, dreams and numinous encounters.

Living projects call on us to stretch beyond what is familiar, to follow what feels pure and necessary rather than deferring to what is comfortable and self-serving.

Living projects employ the totality of our being—our intuition and imagination, our thought processes, our feeling responses, and our body’s sensate wisdom in a process of soul-directed creativity.

Living projects require a grounded appreciation of our gifts, a willingness to make space for what is pressing to be born through us, and a courageous dedication to let our gifts serve a process of collective, not just personal, emergence.

Living projects evolve like trees, constantly deepening their roots while strengthening their vertical presence. Its green canopy provides sustenance and sanctuary to those drawn into its field.

Living projects invite us to follow a mysteriously winding path rather than a predictable paved road. This serpentine path keeps us in dynamic conversation with the constantly changing forces of the living Earth.

Living projects are never forced with willful determination. Cultivating a living system is somewhat like gardening. We allow the project to reveal its potential and innate design, aware that as we do so, we are also maturing through the process.

Living projects create a dynamic field of creative energy that attracts and engages others. Over time, the interweaving between human consciousness and living systems has a radiantly permeating and lasting effect in the world.

Living projects are an inspiring reminder of Nature’s regenerative and self-organizing intelligence that is constantly available to us, even in the midst of ecological devastation.

Living projects have a natural life-span. Like trees, when they have completed their purpose and usefulness, their ‘death’ is not a failure. Instead, the energy that was generated in harmonic resonance with Nature can now serve new forms of life.
